*Woods Hole Historical Museum Paid Internship*

*June 24 - August 26, 2016*

_Intern Duties_

  * Welcome visitors to the museum
  * Interpret exhibits to visitors
  * Assist the executive director and volunteers in the daily operation
    of the museum galleries, other exhibit spaces, and gift shop
  * Provide assistance at programs and events throughout the season
  * Perform administrative and marketing tasks that support the museum’s
    initiatives

_Additional Details and Qualifications_

  * High energy, friendly and outgoing
  * Strong interest in history and museums
  * Excellent communication skills
  * Take pleasure interacting with people of diverse backgrounds, ages
    and interests
  * Knowledgeable in use of social media and tracking data
  * Be available on Tuesdays through Saturdays June 21 to August 27 from
    9:45 - 1:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.
