WILD CARE HARVEST CELEBRATION RETURNS

Eastham, MA Wednesday, September 16th, 2015:  Wild Care Inc, the wildlife animal rescue and rehabilitation center in Eastham will once again celebrate the fall season with a festive Harvest Celebration at Van Rensselaer’s restaurant in South Wellfleet on October 29th from 5pm -8pm. Wild Care supporters and friends will enjoy innovative and delicious vegetarian and vegan fare for every palate along with wine & beer tastings, live music, silent auction and raffle prizes.

Local farms will provide the fresh produce for the event and all proceeds will benefit Wild Care’s wildlife rescue and rehabilitation work here on Cape Cod.

Wild Care’s wildlife rehabilitators treat birds, mammals and reptiles brought to the center, with the goal of releasing them back into the wild when they are capable of independent survival. Through public education, Wild Care works to prevent wildlife casualties and strives to engage the community in conservation through volunteerism. Since our founding Wild Care has accepted over 25,000 wild creatures, representing over 275 species of native birds, mammals and reptiles.
