[SEMCO] COASTSWEEP cleanup at Plymouth Long Beach on October 3

Where: Plymouth Long Beach, 137 Warren Avenue, Plymouth

What: Join thousands of Massachusetts volunteers in cleaning up our beaches AND recording data on the trash gathered. Not only will you make our coastal areas safer and more beautiful, you will add to a database that informs pollution prevention measures. Plus, you can enjoy a gorgeous day at the beach with a fun group of people. And, there will be prizes given out for the most trash collected, the most unique item found, the greatest number of tennis balls rounded up and so on. Sound enticing? Extra credit: Students interested in being “team leaders” should contact me (Dorie - info below). Team leaders recruit 2 or 3 team members, oversee their team and ensure safety measures are foliowed. Each team leader will receive a personalized thank you letter detailing their contribution!
