The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History presents
The Grande Dames of the Dunes
with
The Dune Tramp


BREWSTER, MA ­The Cape Cod Museum of Natural 
History in Brewster is proud to present  The 
Grande Dames of the Dunes, a new program created 
by engaging writer and photographer, The Dune 
Tramp,  Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 1pm.

Enjoy a lively narrative and extensive slideshow 
in this hour presentation. The Dune Tramp   has 
captured the beauty and mystery of the outer Cape 
Cod dune shacks, past and present in his previous 
shows. Research for these lectures revealed a 
fascinating matriarchal dune society, going back decades.

A variety of these strong, courageous “Grande 
Dames of the Dunes” are discussed, along with a 
brief history of their shacks
 and an anecdote or 
two. It’s an entertaining & informative presentation for all ages.

    The presentation will be held at the Museum 
on Saturday, September 12th at 1pm.
