BREWSTER, MA The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster is proud

to present&nbsp; <i>The Grande Dames of the Dunes, </i>a new program

created by engaging writer and photographer, The Dune Tramp,&nbsp;

<b>Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 1pm.<br>

&nbsp;<br>

</b>Enjoy a lively narrative and extensive slideshow in this hour

presentation. The Dune Tramp&nbsp;&nbsp; has captured the beauty and

mystery of the outer Cape Cod dune shacks, past and present in his

previous shows. Research for these lectures revealed a fascinating

matriarchal dune society, going back decades.<br>

&nbsp;<br>

A variety of these strong, courageous “Grande Dames of the Dunes” are

discussed, along with a brief history of their shacks… and an anecdote or

two. It’s an entertaining &amp; informative presentation for all ages.

&nbsp;&nbsp; The presentation will be held at the Museum on Saturday,

September 12th at 1pm.<br>
