[SEMCO] ABSTRACT REQUEST: MEMA 2 Day Statewide Emergency Management Conference

MEMA is now accepting abstracts for the 2014 2-day Emergency Management Conference.  If you have a presentation that you feel would benefit our conference, we invite you to propose your presentation.  Each break-out session during the conference will be 1 hour in length.

The planning committee is considering a wide array of topics to include (but not limited to) the following: Legal Considerations for Emergency Management Directors, Working with Special Populations, Sheltering Operations, Animals and Disasters, Situational Awareness & the Common Operating Picture, Public Health and Emergency Preparedness, Nuclear Response, Cyber Security, Terrorism Response, Emergency Operations Center Operations, Lessons Learned from Disasters, FEMA Reimbursement, and School Security.

To submit your proposal, please forward a completed abstract in the template provided below by February 28, 2014 via email to thengen at state.ma.us.  Once received, the conference planning committee will review the abstract and notify presenters if their presentation has or has not been selected.
