On Wednesday, June 12 at 7 pm the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History will present the film Chasing Ice, directed by Jeff Orlowski, written by Mark Monroe and filmed and narrated by James Balog. 



This film showing is free to the public. 





Chasing Ice is the story of one man’s mission to change the tide of history by gathering undeniable evidence of our changing planet. Acclaimed National Geographic photographer James Balog’s hauntingly beautiful videos compress years into seconds and capture ancient mountains of ice in motion as they disappear at a breathtaking rate. 



Balog deploys revolutionary time-lapse cameras across the brutal Arctic to capture a multi-year record of the world’s changing glaciers . 



A climate-change documentary that both mesmerizes and startles the viewer.
