On Thursday, June 13 at 2 pm the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History will present the class Container Planting with Natives with C.L. Fornari, author, host of GardenLine on WXTK. This is a program in the series Gardening for Life: Cape Cod Native Plants. 



Fee: $15. Reservations are recommended . Space limited. Please call 508-896-3867, Ext. 133. 



C.L. Fornari will explain which plants work best in container gardens, how growing perennials in pots differs from other such gardens, and how to maintain contained shrubs and perennials over the years. 



All attendees will receive a handout of C.L.’s “Native Plants, Contained,” as well as a list of great native plants for Cape Cod containers and gardens. Participants will also receive two coupons from Hyannis Country Garden for a discount on the purchase of native plants. 



C.L. Fornari is the author of A Garden Lover’s Cape Cod , A Garden Wedding and A Garden Lover’s Martha’s Vineyard , among other publications. She is the host of the weekly radio call-in show Gardenline on WXTK.
