Do you know any undergraduates or high school students who are still looking
for an adventurous field-based summer experience? Please let them know that
SEA Semester at Woods Hole is still accepting applications to both the SEA
Summer Session (college) and SEA High School Summer Seminars! Details are
listed below.

SEA Summer Session (COLLEGE)
* June 3 - July 28, 2013
* 4-week shore component in Woods Hole, Massachusetts
* 4-week open ocean research cruise from Honolulu to San Francisco
* 12 Boston University credits
* Open to all majors
* Coursework in oceanography, maritime studies, and nautical science
* All students design and carry out an individual research project
The SEA Summer Session welcomes undergraduates from all majors who are
interested in learning more about our world's oceans. The interdisciplinary
curriculum is designed for students representing a wide variety of
backgrounds and interests. It encourages students to develop a broad
understanding of the ocean environment while gaining leadership skills,
confidence, and lifelong friends.

SEA High School Summer Seminars (HIGH SCHOOL)
Science at SEA (Woods Hole and at sea)
. July 18 - August 4 OR July 29 - August 15 . An interdisciplinary academic
program that examines our oceans from the perspectives of science, history,
and literature . Combines 10 days on our campus in Woods Hole with a 10-day
circumnavigation of Cape Cod on our 134' Atlantic sailing research vessel,
the SSV Corwith Cramer
Oceanography of the Southern California Bight (Catalina and at sea)
. August 3 - 21 . An academic program focused on the near shore and off
shore marine environments of the southern California coast . Combines 10
days at USC's Wrigley Institute for Environmental Studies on Catalina with a
9-day sail through the Channel Islands on our 134' Pacific sailing research
vessel, the SSV Robert C. Seamans
