SEA Summer Session (COLLEGE)<br>
<br>
* June 3 - July 28, 2013<br>
* 4-week shore component in Woods Hole, Massachusetts<br>
* 4-week open ocean research cruise from Honolulu to San Francisco<br>
* 12 Boston University credits<br>
* Open to all majors<br>
* Coursework in oceanography, maritime studies, and nautical science<br>
* All students design and carry out an individual research project<br>
<br>
The SEA Summer Session welcomes undergraduates from all majors who are<br>
interested in learning more about our world's oceans. The interdisciplinary<br>
curriculum is designed for students representing a wide variety of<br>
backgrounds and interests. It encourages students to develop a broad<br>
understanding of the ocean environment while gaining leadership skills,<br>
confidence, and lifelong friends.<br>

SEA High School Summer Seminars (HIGH SCHOOL)<br>
<br>
Science at SEA (Woods Hole and at sea)<br>
. July 18 - August 4 OR July 29 - August 15 . An interdisciplinary academic<br>
program that examines our oceans from the perspectives of science, history,<br>
and literature . Combines 10 days on our campus in Woods Hole with a 10-day<br>
circumnavigation of Cape Cod on our 134' Atlantic sailing research vessel,<br>
the SSV Corwith Cramer<br>
<br>
Oceanography of the Southern California Bight (Catalina and at sea)<br>
. August 3 - 21 . An academic program focused on the near shore and off<br>
shore marine environments of the southern California coast . Combines 10<br>
days at USC's Wrigley Institute for Environmental Studies on Catalina with a<br>
9-day sail through the Channel Islands on our 134' Pacific sailing research<br>
vessel, the SSV Robert C. Seamans<br>
