Using Eco-Toilets To Manage Our Wastewater: The Falmouth Initiative

The Town of Falmouth is currently engaged in a unique project to test the use of eco-toilets as a means of meeting TMDL requirements for reducing nitrogen loading.  This workshop will provide an opportunity to learn about the Falmouth project and ways it could be applied to different towns. Please see attached flyer for more details on the program.

Workshop Objectives:


 1.  Learn about different types of eco-toilets and their use.
 2.  Introduce the Falmouth Eco-toilet Demonstration Project to Cape and South Shore towns and encourage broader participation in the project.
 3.  Provide a forum to discuss how eco-toilets could be a part of the Cape's wastewater solution.

Target Audience:

Town officials, staff, boards and committees; environmental organizations; consultants and anyone working with towns on wastewater issues.
