eaten a cherrystone on the half shell? That's a quahog. Enjoyed steamed littlenecks

 different methods of harvesting them in the wild from "scratcher" David Likos and

Us: What made Chatham Bars Inn get involved with the Cape Cod Commercial Hook Fishermen's
Association?
Danyel: The overall importance of what the fishing community means to our town and
surrounding areas of New England.
Us: What does the Cape Cod fishing community mean to you?
Danyel: Sustainability is key. Our local fisheries not only bring quality seafood
to our tables as business people, but to the tables of our families.
Us: What's your favorite Hookers Ball memory?
Danyel: The best part is when the Hook Association speaks or when the fishermen,
 lobstermen and others speak to the group and tell us what it's really like out 
there. They are not just "fishermen." They are hard working men and women who don't
just care about catching their limits, they care about the ocean and what's in it
and how we can preserve and take care of it all for future generations.
