An easy outdoor hike along the Quashnet River is a perfect family outing after a week of traveling, feasting and shopping. This 2 mile trek takes us along both sides of the river and offers water views through the wooded landscape. Discover different wetland and upland habitats and search for signs of local wildlife at this hidden gem so close to the hustle and bustle of route 28. The trail is mostly flat with some small hills. Dress for the weather and meet at the Martin Road parking area off of Route 28 in Waquoit.
