[SEMCO] Summer Position at Waquoit Bay Reserve

Summer Science Teacher Wanted

*        WBNERR's friends group ,The Waquoit Bay Reserve Foundation is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic educator to co-direct our seven week Summer Science School from July 5nd through August 17th.
*         Work with children in grades 2 through 9, conducting lessons and activities in the classroom, woodlands, salt marshes and shoreline within the Reserve. Age groups differ each week.
*        Monday through Friday schedule includes one overnight camping trip to Washburn Island in July. There will be one additional week for training and planning at the end of June.
*        Must be knowledgeable about coastal ecology and comfortable working in the field handling marine invertebrates. Interest and knowledge of renewable energy helpful. ( Approx. $600/week)

The Reserve is also accepting resumes for an unpaid Education Internship position.

Duties include assisting the Education Department with the development, presentation and marketing of interpretive programs and creation and dissemination of a variety of educational materials. Flexible schedule, start and end date.
