Dear Colleagues,

We need your input!

The Waquoit Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve (WBNERR) Coastal Training Program (CTP) is conducting a survey to assess the training and information needs of elected and appointed local officials, municipal staff and town board/committee members in the Cape & Islands region. We are interested in learning more about your work and existing information needs on coastal resource management issues. Your responses will be used to inform the content and design of coastal training events we provide over the next several years.

Please complete the survey here: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/WBNERRtrainingsurvey

If you complete the survey, you will be entered in a drawing to win a thank you gift. The deadline for completing this survey and being entered to win one of the thank you gifts is Friday, May 25, 2012.

Would you also forward this request to your colleagues who fall within the target group? We want to make this study meaningful and comprehensiveness so that we can better serve you.

We appreciate your response and thank you in advance for your time and effort in completing and sharing the survey.

Sincerely,
Tonna-Marie Surgeon-Rogers

About WBNERR
WBNERR is a living laboratory and regional resource at one of the Northeast's most studied estuaries. In 1988, the Reserve (based in Falmouth, MA) was designated a National Estuarine Research Reserve for the purpose of studying this area in order to improve the understanding of coastal ecosystems and human influences on them, then translating that information to promote more informed decision making regarding coastal resources. Today, the Reserve continues to work with partners to preserve land and water and related ecosystems, investigate compelling issues facing our coast, and provide education to students, teachers, coastal decision-makers and community members.
