On Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at 1:30, the Friends of Cape Cod Museum of
Natural History will present Growing Blueberries with Steve Spear, Natural
Resources Conservation Service

Fees: Members of the Friends/Free, Guests/$3

 

Steve Spear, Natural Resources Conservation Service, will give a powerpoint
presentation on growing blueberries.  After the presentation Steve will be
open for questions.

Steve Spear began farming in East Dennis in 1973, growing blueberries,
strawberries and vegetables. In 1983 he gave up everything but the
blueberries when he began working for the Natural Resources Conservation
Service, an agency in the US Dept. of Agriculture which provides
conservation advice to large landowners.
