[SEMCO] Regretfully we will not be able to present biologist Tim Shank “live from the seafloor” of the Galapagos Rift today

Technical difficulties from the R/V /Okeanos Explorer/ mean that the 
Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution regretfully will not be able to 
present biologist Tim Shank “live from the seafloor” of the Galapagos 
Rift today. In his place, MIT-WHOI Joint Program student Santiago 
Herrera, who has worked extensively with Tim to study the dynamics of 
seafloor vent communities, will join the Peanut Butter Club today. 
Santiago will offer us stunning deep-sea footage from a recent Signature 
Ocean Explorer Expedition to Indonesia and will discuss their work.
