[SEMCO] Plovers, Terns subject of Free Programs, Saturday at Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary

Mass Audubon Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary's research and monitoring
projects will be the subject of a new monthly series called Sanctuary
Science Saturdays scheduled for the last Saturday of every month.
These programs are FREE with membership or sanctuary admission and
feature programs for both children and adults. No registration is
required.
February 26: Coastal Waterbird Program
10 a.m. Coastal Waterbirds for Families: Learn how we protect the birds
that nest on our beaches through stories, games, crafts, and
science-building activities.
1:30 p.m. Coastal Waterbirds for Adults: Science Coordinator Mark
Faherty's presentation will introduce Cape Cod's endangered coastal
waterbird species and our efforts to track and protect their
populations.
Details on how people can get involved with citizen science and
monitoring projects will also be included.

Both activities take place at the Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary.
