[SEMCO] Earth Day season in Falmouth

EARTH DAY SEASON   ON CAPE  COD 
 
Earth Day arrives on Friday, April 22.        Two events may be of special 
interest to environmentalists, and others,   who are in the Falmouth area, 
on Cape Cod.
 
APRIL 22:   Environmentalists are concerned about the recent  events in 
Japan.    Japan is a multifaith
                   nation.     On Friday, April 22, there will be a 
multifaith  gathering  in response to the
                   continued suffering in Japan.    Buddhist and Christian  
traditions will be combined in a
                   solemn services of remembrance.     This vigil will 
begin at  noon.    It will take place at the
                   Unitarian Universalist church, 840 Sandwich Road, in 
East  Falmouth....    All people are

APRIL 23:   (Saturday.)    Falmouth's traditional  Earth Day gathering.    
This will be a work party at the
                   organic community garden at the Falmouth Service Center. 
    Activities start at "around
                   nine o'clock."     Come prepared for some garden  
work.....   At 11:00 am, we'll break for
                   Fair Trade coffee, juice, and a special cake provided by 
the Sierra Club.
 
                   The event is free.   All people are invited.  The 
Falmouth  Service Center is located at 611
