Looking at the sun thorough binoculars or a telescope is something that one should never do. However, learning as much as we can about our companion star is something that has challenged Helioseismologists for years. Technology has helped bring our knowledge forward. Cape Cod Astronomical Society president Tom Leach , will show though NASA images and video the current understanding of the solar interior through the observation of the oscillations at its surface. These oscillations take place both at a global and a local scale and now scientists have built models to reproduce what is happening inside our most importance energy source. FREE.
