Field Walks exploring Wild Edible and Medicinal Plants
Saturdays, September 19 and October 3, 2-5 p.m.
at the Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary
Join ethnobotanist Sharon Ackland for a walk through the maritime woods
and along the shoreline to explore the bay's wild medicinal and edible
plants. We'll nibble and savor our way through Native American and
colonial favorites, while reviewing surprising research results of their
nutritional and healing benefits.
Cost per walk is $18 for Mass Audubon members, $20 for non-members.
Registration is required. Call the Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary at
508-349-2615 to register.
