THE NIGHT SKY THROUGH BINOCULARS
Sponsored by Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary 

Friday, August 14, 7:45-10 PM

Leader: Paul Cezanne, astronomer and member of Cape Cod Astronomical
Society

This unique workshop gives an overview of different binoculars and how
to use them for astronomy. Learn how to read a star chart and discover
how to "star hop" to find the most interesting things in the seasonal
sky. The program ends outdoors with a guided look at the night sky
through binoculars. On-line resources and books will also be shared.
Bring binoculars (if you have them), a flashlight, and a folding
lawn/beach chair. Held at the Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary.
Pre-registration required.

Fee: $22 members of Mass Audubon, $24 non-members
