Upcoming lecture at Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary:

"SEALS OF CAPE COD"
by Lisa Sette, Biologist with Provincetown Center for Coastal Studies

Wednesday, August 19, 7:30 p.m.

Seals swimming in the surf or resting on shore have become an
increasingly common sight along our shores, especially on the Outer
Cape. Lisa Sette, a biologist with the Provincetown Center for Coastal
Studies, is particularly interested in the haul-out sites of gray and
harbor seals and she has started a pilot study to use these resting
sites to help her gain more information about seal behavior and
population dynamics. On Wednesday, August 19 at 7:30 p.m. at the
Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, Lisa Sette will speak about her seal
research. The talk is open to the public. Cost is $5 for Mass Audubon
and $7 for non-members. Discount is also extended to Center for Coastal
Studies members. No registration is required. For more information
contact 508-349-2615.
