On Wednesday, April 16 at 7:30 pm at the Cape Cod Museum of Natural
History in Brewster Cindy Milburn, Senior Advisor, International Fund
for Animal Welfare, will present "On Thin Ice: Climate Change and
Marine Mammals." This lecture is free to the public.

Signs of global climate change are all around us. Ice-dependent
marine mammals in the Arctic are really feeling the heat. A recent
report by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) concluded that loss of
habitat from melting sea-ice could drive polar bears to extinction
within the next century. Seals, whales, walruses and many other
species are also at risk.

Learn more about these charismatic animals, how they are being
impacted by global warming and why this matters to all the animals
and people of our shared world.

For further information and registration, please contact the Cape Cod
Museum of Natural History, 508-896-3867, Ext. 133.

On Saturday, April 19 at 3:00 PM the New England Reptile and Raptor

management of these amazing animals, both wild and captive. Adults:
$8/member, $10/non-member. Children under 12: $4/member, $5/non-member.
Reservations are required. Seating is limited.

Director Marla Isaac has presented educational wildlife shows for
over 30 years and has conducted classes on handling dangerous
reptiles for law enforcement agencies for the past 25 years. Her
program will include a diversity of reptiles along with visual aids
such as reptile skulls and shed skin. The audience will have the
special opportunity to view and appreciate live snakes, lizards,
turtles, tortoises and crocodilians. The program is geared to the
