On Sunday, May 18 at 4:00 pm  the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History will
present a special spring benefit for the museum-- Silvard in Concert to be
held at the Brewster Ladies Library, 1822 Main Street, Brewster, MA.


Admission is $15.  Prepaid reservations are highly recommended and must be
confirmed with the Museum office staff at 508-896-3867, Ext. 133.
 
An international performing pianist and composer, Silvard will play his
original compositions, classical pieces, Top 40 and Broadway melodies. Dr.
Silvard Kool has a signature style on the piano -- a blend of new age and
easy listening.  His love of the ocean is deeply reflected in his music as
well as in his research as a professor of marine biology at Boston College.
 
Silvard has produced numerous CDs and cassettes featuring his creative
"Freeflow" process, including Postcard from Cape Cod and Touched by the Sea,
that will be on sale at this benefit.
 
 
Silvard's appearance on Cape Cod offers residents and visitors an unusual
opportunity to enjoy the extraordinary music of an artist and scientist
inspired by the ocean environment we treasure.
