Cape Cod Museum of Natural History, Rte 6A, Brewster,  by Tor Hansen
followed by a field trip to Higgins Windmill to find Baltimore
Checkerspot, Peckís Skipper, rare Dusted Skipper and Silver-bordered
Fritillary nectaring on Red Clover.

Thursday, June 10, 10:30 am.  At Crane Wildlife Management Area, Rte.
151, Falmouth.  One of the best sites on the Cape, a large grassland and
woodland edge site, host to many species all through the season.
Butterflyweed attracts Spicebush and Tiger Swallowtails, Monarch,
American Copper and Sulphurs.

Sunday, June 13,  2 pm.   Butterfly Slide Show of Spring Butterflies,
followed by a field trip to Crane Wildlife Management Area.   Tor
Hansen, co-author of the new book, Butterflies Across Cape Cod.    At
the West Falmouth Library, 575 West Falmouth Highway, Rte 28A.  $8.00.
