Other MA monitoring groups are also welcome, as space allows. OEA Massachusetts Watershed Initiative and the Massachusetts Environmental Workshop participants will learn what is involved in writing study designs and QAPPs, and begin working on developing their own, under the guidance of workshop facilitators. The workshop is geared to volunteer groups that are currently monitoring or wish to start up a monitoring program. If you are currently monitoring, we can help you evaluate your current program and fine-tune or modify it for improvements. If you don’t now but intend to monitor, we can help you design your monitoring plan and make sure you get off on the right foot. Highlights - Learn what should be included in an effective and useful study design and QAPP - Receive assistance and instruction in developing a study design or QAPP for your particular monitoring group Pre-registration is required! This workshop teaches concepts and offers an opportunity to practice data interpretation. We will use data from 2 or 3 volunteer monitoring groups. If you want to be one of those lucky groups, contact us immediately! As much as time allows, we will also examine other groups’ data if they bring it.
