[SEMCO] 2/28 CBB Lecture: Change of Location

PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF LOCATION!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the first presentation in the Coalition
for Buzzards Bay winter lecture series has been moved.  "Logs of the
Dead Pirates Society:  A Schooner Adventure Around Buzzards Bay" will
begin at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 28, in the Clark Building (5th
floor) of WHOI's Quissett Campus.

Directions: Route 28 South into Falmouth.  Bear right at Gulf Station
off of 28 onto Woods Hole Rd. Continue for another mile or so, watching
for the "WHOI Quissett Laboratories" sign on the left.  Turn left onto
the campus.  Proceed through the entrance and watch signs for the Clark
Building (first left).  Parking is available on the left along the
driveway to the building.  Take elevator or stairs to the fifth floor
conference room.

The two remaining lectures in the series will be held as originally
scheduled:

Wednesday, March 14, 2001 7:00 p.m.
At Wareham Library, 59 Marion Rd. (Rte. 6), Wareham
"Economics of Open Space:  The Saving of the Green"

Wednesday, March 28, 2001 7:00 p.m.
At Buttonwood Park Zoo Education Center, Hawthorne St., New Bedford
"Shellfish Aquaculture in Buzzards Bay: Bay Scallops and Oysters"

(All presentations are open to the general public. Lectures are Free to
all Coalition for Buzzards Bay
members and $3 per lecture to non-members. Refreshments will be served
at all presentations.)
