Dear colleagues --

Brandeis is looking to hire a lecturer to teach undergraduate courses in 
climate science. This is a teaching Assistant Professor position outside 
of the tenure structure (it is potentially renewable, and there are 
promotion steps to Associate and Full Professor). I think it is a good 
job for a recent PhD who wishes to focus on teaching and has an 
attraction to the Boston area; our undergraduates are academically 
strong and quite motivated, and our teaching faculty are valued members 
of the Brandeis community.

A job description is attached. I've also attached a letter from Prof. 
Daniel Perlman, the chair of our Environmental Studies program (and of 
the search committee), which gives a sense of what such a job is like here.
