Hi everyone,
You have probably heard that there was a DSP closure in Sequim Bay that
resulted in the illness of 3 people and a recall of ~2000 lb of
shellfish. The Washington State Department of Health (WDOH) would like
to sample more widely and you can help.
If you have noticed any elevated numbers of Dinophysis in the last few
weeks or a change in abundance, please email Vera Trainer at
Vera.L.Trainer at noaa.gov
The WDOH will likely want to sample shellfish in any areas with elevated
Dinophysis counts.

Thanks for your help and have a good weekend, Vera
