> Hello everyone,
> Brian Bill and I sampled a Heterosigma bloom in southern Sequim Bay today (near Sequim Bay State Park) and
> Karlista Rickerson has reported a bloom of Heterosigma at Dockton, Quartermaster Harbor.
>
> Please keep your eyes open for any dead or dying fish and let the list know if Heterosigma blooms or any other
> HABs are observed in other locations in Washington State.
>
> The first closure by the Washington State Department of Health due to confirmed levels of DSP toxins above the
> regulatory limit (tested by US FDA and NOAA) has been imposed for Sequim Bay. This includes a product recall
> back to any shellfish sold on August 1 or later.
