SoundHAB: FW: bloom in Hood Canal too

I anticipate oysters spawning all of this week into the next on the West,
South and North shores of the Canal. They are ripe, ripe ripe and with
the hot summer days and low tide exposure it should stimulate them. I am
on the Canal sampling the west, north and southshores during the low tide
tomorrow.

A Canal Watcher just called in and the bloom is infront of Alderbook -
mile post 7 - extent of bloom not determined. It is in the very center of
the bay - not near shore based on their observations so far.

I have some homeowners that have had fish kills in front of their places
along the west and south shores. I will alert them and have them check
every hour to see if they observe struggling or dead fish.
