Ecological Land Care Summer Intern
APCC is offering temporary seasonal paid internships. Intern will also help with maintaining the native landscape at APCC’s headquarters, and other related projects.
Candidates will be considered who are undergraduate students and/or have an educational background and interest in sustainability, landscape design, or environmental studies or the equivalent. Importantly, the candidate must have a passion for learning and understanding the natural environment.
Preferred skills and Qualifications
* Gardening and natural history knowledge
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and on a team
Candidate must have dependable transportation to and from appointments Cape-wide. Mileage is paid per IRS rate for travel.
Physical requirements include, but are not limited to, bending, kneeling, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
The work week is 37.5 hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30-4:30.
Pay rate: $20/hour
