Hello all,

I'm excited to share that we are now accepting applications for the 2024
cohort of the Woods Hole Partnership Education Program (PEP)!

Here is a brief description to share with your students/networks, and a
formal announcement is attached:

The Woods Hole Partnership Education Program (PEP) is accepting
applications for the 2024 summer undergraduate research internship program.
Based in Woods Hole, Massachusetts, PEP combines course work with research
in marine, oceanographic, biological, and environmental sciences. PEP is a
collaboration of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and the six major
scientific institutions in Woods Hole: NOAA’s Northeast Fisheries Science
Center, Marine Biological Laboratory, Sea Education Association, U. S.
Geological Survey, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, and the Woodwell
Research Center.

PEP 2024 will run June 1 through August 11. Participating students will
receive a $6,000 stipend in addition to tuition for the course, travel
to/from Woods Hole, room and board, and field trip expenses during the
program.

Applications are due Friday, February 9, 2024, with letters of
recommendation due on February 16. The 2024 PEP Class will be announced in
mid-March.
