Mass Audubon Cape Cod is looking for a FT teacher naturalist to join our year-round staff


Mass Audubon Cape Cod encompasses six wildlife sanctuaries including two nature centers in Barnstable and Wellfleet and teaches extensive school, public and camp education programs. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Teacher Naturalist to join our year-round staff of 6 full time educators. The Teacher Naturalist (TN) position will work closely with members of the school and camp programs team to provide youth programing across the Cape Region.

During the school year, the TN will work with the school programs team to deliver Mass Audubon preK-12 programming. This work will take place inside classrooms, online in remote classrooms and outside at our sanctuaries and other conservation areas including the salt marsh, tidal flats, and forest habitats.

The TN will also support the Day Camp Director year-round in administrative tasks leading up to the summer season and will then provide in person support at the Wellfleet Bay Day Camp (or other satellite camps in the future) as the Assistant Camp Director.
