[SEMCO] FREE - Exploring Oceanography Program for ages 12-15

Do you have a budding oceanographer in your family? Then this program is for them.

We are excited to announce a FREE 3-day Exploring Oceanography program for girls and boys ages 12-15

Participants will:

* Learn how to use gear and instrumentation to collect water samples and measure parameters such as temperature, salinity, oxygen, and pH.

* Develop skills to format spreadsheets & create charts from the data collected in the field

* Perform daily plankton tows

* Identify and photograph plankton

* Prepare and present their work to their families and the public during an outdoor evening program at the Cape Cod Canal Visitor Center.
