[SEMCO] OPAK Virtual Ocean Camp Aug. 17-21

Hello Ocean Lovers,

Join OPAK for a virtual week full of ocean science and art! Students will
investigate the marine food web, analyze whale acoustics, get a (virtual)
close up with a seal, take a (virtual) dive into the deep ocean and explore
sustainable seafood options all while learning how to become ocean
advocates through daily art lessons. In addition to a week full of art
projects across numerous mediums, students will spend time investigating
impacts to our oceans and ways that we can make art more sustainable for
future generations. To get the most out of this virtual workshop we will
provide you a “shopping list” for supplies that you will need to follow our
virtual lessons. Participants that complete the virtual course will receive
an ocean ambassador certificate and credit towards a future in-person
workshop.

Date(s)/Time(s):  August 17th-21st from 10am-12:30pm EST (with a 30-minute
break)

Ages: Students entering grades 4-8 in the fall. This course will be limited
to 15 students.
