He will focus particular attention to changes expected on Cape Cod.

The talk will be held at 7:30 PM in the MBL’s Lillie Auditorium, 7 MBL Street, Woods Hole.  It is the latest presentation in the 2018-2019 Falmouth Forum season<https://mbl.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=d5338bbd21442d31e1b673fa3&id=70918fc787&e=12ac3a1937>.

The free series is presented by the Friends of the MBL<https://mbl.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=d5338bbd21442d31e1b673fa3&id=ac9b64b373&e=12ac3a1937> and offered as a cultural connection between the Marine Biological Laboratory<https://mbl.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=d5338bbd21442d31e1b673fa3&id=29b97e13a5&e=12ac3a1937> and the Cape Cod community.  Free parking is available in any MBL lot.

John Holdren is the Teresa and John Heinz Professor of Environmental Policy at the Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, Co-Director of the School’s Science, Technology, and Public Policy program, Professor of Environmental Science and Policy in the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences, and Faculty Affiliate in the Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Science. He is also Visiting Distinguished Professor at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, and Senior Advisor to the President at the Woods Hole Research Center. From 2009 to 2017, Holdren was President Obama’s Science Advisor and Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, becoming the longest-serving Science Advisor to the President in the history of the position.
