THE SOUTHEASTERN MASSACHUSETTS PINE BARRENS ALLIANCE PRESENTS THE 6TH ANNUAL
MOTH BALLFeaturing The Caterpillar Lab of New Hampshire with
- Caterpillars that mimic snakes
- Caterpillars that dress up in flower costumes
- Caterpillars that have inflatable tails and horns
Have a ball through the night making your own moth wings, having your face
painted to reveal your inner moth, viewing displays of live caterpillars
and identifying the moths you humanely capture and release at special moth
identification stations!
Sample treats enjoyed by lepidopterists world-wide including caterpillar
bites, root beer floats, and moth cake. Stay Late. The later the hour, the
more spectacular the moths that show up in the special traps that we will
use to lure them to the Ball.
