hands-on learning. *

We will use a simplified wind turbine to learn about and study aspects of
the engineering and design process: variables, constraints, prototyping,
testing, data recording and evaluation, communication and redesign.  After
uncovering the basics, you will design and construct your own modifications
for the wind turbine to maximize output.


Throughout the workshop we will highlight direct connections to
*NGSS*, *3-Dimensional
Learning*, and the *MA Science and Technology/Engineering Learning
Standards* in a way that will allow you to use the innovative *CPO Science
Wind Turbine Learning Module* in your classroom.  Classroom kits are
available to borrow from the Cape Cod Regional STEM Network lending
