HOLIDAY HEAD START AT GREEN BRIAR

The Thornton Burgess Green Briar Nature Center & Jam Kitchen in
collaboration with the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History invites all to its
"Holiday Headstart" on Saturday, November 17th from 10am to 4pm.  Start your
holiday preparation with a stop at the quaint site of the historic Jam
Kitchen all decked out for the holidays!  Sample the Jam Kitchen's unique
Holiday Jam and new Sugar Plum Jam.  Visit Green Briar's new Mercantile and
artisanal boutiques offering unusual and creative gift solutions.  Vendors
for the day include Do Well Studio (paper ornaments, holiday boards &
children's books); Beth Adoette (nature miniatures); Stony Brook Design
(greeting cards & textiles); Acqua Diving (jewelry & art cards); Esfoley
Designs (handmade accessories for pets & kids); The Lucky Mermaid (seashore
toys & fiber arts); Odyssey Stoneware ( pottery mugs & tableware).  Explore
the Children's Craft Cottage set up especially for the kids along with face
painting, a special holiday story time and more surprises.

Green Briar is located at 6 Discovery Hill Road, just off Route 6A in East
Sandwich.  The Mercantile is open daily through December 23rd, 10-4 Monday
