[SEMCO] Listening session on American lobster research this coming Friday October 26

Sea Grant is hosting a "listening session" on Oct.26th in Gloucester, MA to better understand the key research questions for understanding and managing American lobster in the Gulf of Maine and Georges Bank, including the effects of environmental changes on migration, growth, and maturity. The goal of the listening session is to uncover what these questions are and where they fall in the scientific and management landscapes. The information gathered from the session will be used to inform both the research and extension-focused elements of the National Sea Grant College Program lobster initiative. The National Office is NOT soliciting information in the form of recommendations for Requests for Proposals or agency management actions. 
 
The Listening Session runs from 1:00 – 3:30 pm on Friday October 26th. There are several options for participating in the session: in person, virtually from a Sea Grant hosted satellite location (RI or Woods Hole only), or virtually from your own computer. Comments can also be submitted in writing.
