Senior Corps is hosting a Tick Workshop with Larry Dapsis

Are ticks stopping you from your outdoor adventures?  Do you feel unsafe even in your backyard?  Join Senior Corps RSVP of Cape Cod and the Islands at our Tick Workshop on July 10 at 10AM.  Larry Dapsis, Barnstable County Extension's Entomologist and Tick Guru, will lead the workshop and ease your mind.  First is a viewing of Tick Days, an 18-minute film by Marnie Crawford Samuelson and Shane Hofeldt, which showcases Larry's efforts to combat tick-borne diseases on Cape Cod.  It's not just Lyme Disease anymore!  After the film, Larry will discuss in further detail the various pathogens ticks can carry and spread, as well as information on prevention.  Come find out the best practices to protect yourself, your yard and your family!
