DRAWING & PAINTING NATURE IN WATERCOLOR

"Drawing & Painting Nature in Watercolor" is an 8 week class offered for
adults at the Green Briar Nature Center in East Sandwich beginning on
Wednesday, January 23, and continuing each Wednesday from 10am to noon
through March 13.  If necessary, March 20 will be a snow date.   Mary
Richmond of Cape Cod Art and Nature, Artist, Columnist, Naturalist and
Educator is the instructor for those wishing to improve their skills in
either drawing or painting, or both.  Each class begins with drawing
exercises and then moves on to simple watercolor techniques.  These easy
going classes provide lots of tips and instruction as well as shared
critiques. Bring a pencil and sketchbook to the first class as well as a
sense of humor and adventure.  At that class, we will talk about painting
supplies. Beginners and more advanced students are welcome.  Concentration
will be on skill building with individualized attention.

 

The fee is $160 for members of the Thornton W. Burgess Society, $190 for
non-members for the entire 8 weeks, or $25 per class.  Advance registration
