JAM MAKING FOR ADULTS & CHILDREN IN THE GREEN BRIAR JAM KITCHEN

Join a jam making class in the historic Green Briar Jam Kitchen in East
Sandwich and make something special to take home and enjoy.  Workshops for
adults are scheduled from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on a Wednesday evening and 9:30am
to 11:30am on a Saturday morning.  Family workshops, which include one adult
and one child working together, are scheduled from 1:00pm to 3:00pm on a
Saturday afternoon.   Children must be six years old to participate.  Coming
up for adults are June 24, rhubarb orange jam; June 28, rhubarb orange jam;
July 1, blueberry peach jam; July 5, blueberry peach jam;  July 8, mango
chutney; July 12, mango chutney; July 15, plum rum jam; July 19, plum rum
jam.  Family workshops are offered on June 24, rhubarb orange jam; July 1,
blueberry peach jam; July 8 blueberry mango jam; July 15, plum jam. The fee
per workshop is $35 for members of the Thornton W. Burgess Society, $45 for
non-members.  The fee includes one adult and one child in the family
classes.  All materials and instruction are provided, and participants can
expect to take home 4 to 6 jars of finished product.  Advance registration
