[SEMCO] Pine Fest -- May 20

The Southeastern Massachusetts Pine Barrens Alliance is sponsoring the fourth annual Pine Fest -- A Pine Barrens Multicultural Celebration In Myles Standish State Forest on May 20 this year.  The goal of this event is raise awareness and appreciation of the region's natural and cultural resources.  We do this by hosting nature activities and crafts, artists, music, food and cultural stations that are representative of the area's cultural diversity and historic land uses.  Outdoor recreational activities and encounters with environmental professionals and conservation organizations will engage visitors in playful, experiential learning highlighting our local and globally rare ecological environment.
