JAM MAKING CLASSES IN THE GREEN BRIAR JAM KITCHEN

Join in the fun in the historic Green Briar Jam Kitchen in East Sandwich
making your own jars of something special to take home and enjoy or give as
a gift.  Expert instruction and all materials are provided to make 4 to 6
jars of product.  During January and February, the number of workshops is
reduced to one Saturday per month.  On January 20 from 9:30am to 11:30am,
adults may make cherry apricot jam.  That afternoon from 1:00pm to 3:00pm,
an adult and child ages 6 and up may work together to make apricot jam.
Workshops are also scheduled on February 10 at 9:30am for adults to make
cranberry lemon pear jam and at 1:00pm for an adult and child to make
cranberry lemon pear jam.  The fee per workshop is $35 for members of the
Thornton W. Burgess Society, $45 for non-members.  The fee includes one
adult and one child in the family classes.  Paid advance registration is
