SPECIAL EVENT:                                               

JUNE 11 from 10am-4pm - STRAWBERRY DAY at the Green Briar Nature Center &
Jam Kitchen, 6 Discovery Hill Road (off Route 6A), East Sandwich.  Enjoy
fresh strawberries in a homemade dessert served in the historic Jam Kitchen
from 11am-2pm for a $4 fee.  View old-fashioned strawberry jam making and
sample jam tastings in the gift shop.  Browse among the used book sale,
visit the nature center's resident animals, and stroll the paths of the

ONGOING PROGRAMS

TUESDAYS at 10:00am - GUIDED WILDFLOWER GARDEN WALK at the Green Briar
Nature Center, 6 Discovery Hill Road (off Route 6A), East Sandwich.  This
drop in program is offered each Tuesday in June, July and August.  Fee is

WEDNESDAYS at 6:00pm and SATURDAYS at 9:30am -  JAM MAKING WORKSHOPS are
scheduled bi-weekly in the historic Green Briar Jam Kitchen in East

GALLERY EXHIBITS 

"The Life and Times of Thornton W. Burgess" at the Green Briar Nature
Center, 6 Discovery Hill Road (off Route 6A), East Sandwich features
memorabilia rom the life and times of the famed children's author and
conservationist [1874-1965].  Exhibit runs year-round.  Mon.-Sat. 10am-4pm,
