[SEMCO] Floodplain Management Workshop and Certification Exam - Feb. 25 & March 25

Cape Cod Cooperative Extension will be hosting a workshop to introduce participants to floodplain management on February 25, followed on March 25 by a Certified Floodplain Manager exam. The workshop is intended to introduce participants to the concepts that will be covered on the CFM exam. You may attend the workshop if you do not intend to take the exam, and you may take the exam without attending the workshop; however, space is limited for both. If you cannot attend this time, there will likely be more opportunities in the future.
 
If you would like to take the exam, please visit the Certification Program (CFM) section of the Association of State Floodplain Managers website <http://floods.org/> for more information. You may want to begin reviewing FEMA 480 <http://floods.org/index.asp?menuid=388&firstlevelmenuid=180&siteid=1>, which will be the foundation of February’s workshop and is the study guide for the exam.
