  Saturday Science


BREWSTER, MA ­ The Cape Cod Museum of Natural 
History in Brewster announces its dates for 
Saturday Science, February 13, March 5, April 2, May 7, 10am-11am.

Come join the curious and solve the mysteries! 
Each Saturday there will be different experiments 
led by our STEAM science team:

• Sat., 2/13, 10 - 11am - Strawberry DNA
Using science and hands-on squishy techniques we 
will pull out our curiosity and separate the
DNA out of strawberries. Ages 6 – 10.

• Sat., 3/5, 10 -11am - Weather Wonders
Is wind only air that ‘Huffs and Puffs?’ Come 
dissect our Weather Wonder. Follow your curiosity
and find out what you can do with the wind. Ages 7 -11.

• Sat., 4/2, 10 - 11am - Egg Drop
How you do you drop an egg from 10 feet but keep 
it from cracking? Explore with different
materials and designs to build a device that can 
keep an egg safe. Compete with other children
ages 9 -13.

• Sat., 5/7, 10 - 11 am - Nature Detectives
Have you ever wanted to be a detective? Come and 
look for evidence in nature. We try to find
insects, small mammals and discover what lives 
under a log in the forest. Ages 4 -7

Space is limited to 15 students per session
$5.00 per student
